Finally! This past week I got myself together to clean up and photograph for this final post in my Havenly Series. I shared the before photos in the first post and that I’d always wanted to try this service. Finally taking the leap, I narrowed down the design direction with my designer. For this post, I’ll share the final design and the products we chose! So, without further delay…
My Havenly designer chose a few products that didn’t end up fitting with the room, or items that ran out of stock before I purchased, but I was able to find some great replacements for this space. My two favorite items in the room are the Recycled Leather Couch and the Matte Black Lamp.
I had previously ordered two chairs, but decided I didn’t want too many items in the office and would rather have a small couch. But finding a reasonably priced leather love seat proved to be a much more difficult task than I anticipated. The black lamp my designer suggested was out of stock, so I looked high and low for a similar one – and it’s perfect!
I loved the idea of how many mixed materials there are in the room. I love how the space combined neutral metals, leathers, and fur with my love for tropical prints and plants.
The shelf I added and styled more recently. I wanted it to be a place for my sample albums and some electronics, but still be aesthetically pleasing. I added some green with all faux plants… because this room get’s NO light.
I ended up sewing the tassels on a set of white curtains, and I also sewed the pillow cover. It was fun adding personal and handmade elements. I think the tassels are so fun and make the room feel less serious.
All in all, I love how the room turned out. I’m finished making purchases for now. Ideally, I’d love to remove the file cabinet below the art, but I guess SOME things need to be useful… I would love to hear your thoughts and questions in the comments!

Looks as if it’s right out of a magazine! Live the charming simplicity. I don’t see the file cabinet, but maybe if you paint it white, it’ll be unobtrusive.
