Although our time at the Paia Inn was short and sweet, I have so many great things to say about this place. We stayed here one night, knowing we wanted to hit the Road to Hana HARD the next day. I took a few pictures of this place, but my developing knowledge of shooting film didn’t do it justice!
We picked the Paia Inn knowing we would only be staying one night. We didn’t want to jump off our 12 hr flight and into a car for 3 more hours to get to Hana. After finding this cute place online, we booked our room. We were so happy when we pulled in. The Paia Inn is right on Hana Highway, in the heart of Paia, next to boutiques and restaurants. Paia itself is a walkable town, so of course, you’re in walking distance to everything. We brought our things in and were greeted by the sweetest girl who showed us around the property.
They have beach chairs you can grab, an outdoor shower, a patio for drinking your morning coffee, a rooftop, and of course, a private beach. And a cafe [which wasn’t quite open during our stay]. Our room was the cutest, most comfortable bed with a small shower room. Think of NYC size hotel room… small, but perfect for travelers who are out and about but want to come back to a little luxury! They do have larger options, and even a home to rent.
If you ever need a little place to stay with plenty of character and close access to the best of Paia, make sure you look this place up!
I love seeing all of the details put into a boutique hotel… little touches like this iron gate and the shower that seems like it grew there…
Morning coffee right here looking out over the ocean?! Yes please.
