Every year, I enter the lottery to win tickets to The Masters. It’s my favorite golf event. Soaked with southern – azaleas, pimento cheese sandwiches, and so much tradition – it’s been my dream to go since I knew I could snag some tickets. Well I finally won, y’all! But then COVID19. And the sports and entertainment world put a halt to all things. Including my search for the perfect Masters outfit.
Well, they’ve rescheduled for this fall, and I’M SO EXCITED. I will miss getting to see Augusta, GA in the spring with the azaleas in bloom, but I’m excited to get to experience the tournament like no one has ever seen. Literally. It’s never been held in the fall!
I sought help on instagram in search of the perfect pair of white sneakers. In order to survive a long day on foot, standing and walking 18 holes, they will have to be comfortable AND fashionable. I got so many different responses, I decided it deserved it’s own blog post. I took it upon myself to choose my 12 favorites from what you shared with me and share them with YOU! I’ve included links as well! [Some are affiliate links. So, if click + shop through the links below, I can earn a small commission on what you decide to purchase!]
Row 1: Converse | Rothy’s | FitFlop
Row 2: On Cloud | Ecco | Allbirds
Row 3: J. Crew | Superga | Golden Goose
Row 4: Target | Sperry | Keds
I love all of these for different reasons, but I’ve been able to eliminate a few pairs. The Golden Gooses are out – I’m going for pure white, although that green accent would be perfect for the occasion. Ecco is probably out – again, looking for pure white. Also, they are so much more than I want to spend. I love the look of the Keds, but I wore them as a kid, and I just can’t trust them to be comfortable for a day on your feet. Same for the Target and Converse option. The On Cloud, Rothy’s, and Allbirds are not right for the style I’m going for, although I kind of want all three for my closet.
And then the Fit Flops – I’m a little nervous about these, but kind of like them! I’m hoping they won’t be too clunky, and that the neoprene would make my feet hot! However, I’m excited about the comfort side to them.
I might be leaning toward the Supergas for a few reasons. They are classy [I mean, if Kate Middleton can wear them…]. They are canvas – breathable and flexible. They are really reasonably priced – under $100. And finally, the reviews all commend them for being very comfortable!
I also love the look of the Sperry’s and J. Crew – they are very similar so I’d have to read up on the reviews to see what people say about the comfort level.
Which ones would you choose?

If you’re running, Ons all the way! Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend spending the $$$. Those are my favorite running shoes though…but I probably wouldn’t buy white running shoes anyways 😉
